Varietal: White Bordeaux (Sauvignon Blanc, Semillion blend)
Food Pairing: Salt baked sea bass with citrus and herbs (Recipe)
This white Bordeaux is pale straw in color with granny smith apples, grapefruit and lime zest on the nose. The green veggie characteristics, notably asparagus and green grass, hit you immediately on the nose but fade a bit on the palate. The finish is longer then I deserve for only paying $13.50 and is reminiscent of gravel dust.
