The Chardonnay is light straw color and the nose holds lots of lemon citrus and nectarines, followed by white flowers like jasmine and honeysuckle. The vanilla finish is just the right balance to the fruit!

 

The Evening Land Chardonnay pairs well with the Salmon burger because the predominant flavor that comes through is really the mustard. The citrus flavors balanced with the vanilla oak flavors really helps to freshen up the salmon without making the mustard stand out more. It also works be creating harmony between the creaminess of the wine and the aioli sauce on the burger.
